Job Summary
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by properly distributing and storing food while ensuring all special dietary needs, including mechanical, pureed, and renal diets, are met. Work within a team to communicate effectively and promote the mission of Cascade Living by delivering nutritious meals that support resident thriving. Demonstrate strong organizational skills for time management and master various kitchen equipment to contribute to high-quality, consistent meal service. Weekend availability is required with hours between 6:30am and 6pm.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in nutrition, food preparation, safe food handling techniques and food service management
- Experience working in institutional cooking including mechanical, pureed, finger food and renal diets
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable when it comes to showing up on time
- Food Handlers Card
- Weekend Availability Required
