Job Summary
Lead a kitchen team to prepare, season, and cook a wide range of foods including meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast items, and pastries while ensuring adherence to recipes, production schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities include receiving ingredients, assembling supplies, maintaining clean work areas and equipment, catering events, maintaining inventory and records, and preparing special diets per prescribed standards. Requires reviewing production schedules, testing foods for quality, and managing daily operational needs related to food supplies and equipment. Emphasis on data entry of production sheets, inventory control, and safe food handling. 5-7 years of cooking experience and a HS diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to work onsite in Salem, MA at Mass General Brigham facility.
