Job Summary
Cook at Marriott International responsible for preparing ingredients, portioning and chopping, washing/peeling fruits and vegetables, weighing/measuring/mixing ingredients, cooking according to recipes and quality standards, operating ovens/stoves/grills/mry microwaves/fryers, testing for doneness, maintaining food quality, setting up/breaking down work stations, serving portions, and maintaining clean, safe kitchen and equipment. Adheres to safety policies, reports hazards, maintains professional communication, supports team goals, and complies with uniform and confidentiality standards. Requires ability to stand for extended periods and physically perform tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds; preferred HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year related experience.
