Job Summary
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food; wash/peel produce; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and checklists; prepare cold foods; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test foods for doneness; monitor food quality; set up and break down work station; serve portions; wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment; ensure correct temperatures; follow safety policies and complete safety training; maintain professional appearance; protect company assets; develop positive working relationships and listen/respond to colleagues; adhere to quality expectations; stand/sit/walk for long periods; perform other reasonable duties; education preference: High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year related experience; no supervisory requirement.
