Job Summary
Prepare meals according to menu and recipe guidelines while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety practices. Assist with serving meals in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean kitchen and dining spaces following established schedules. Supervise food requisitions, inventory, and rotation when the Culinary Coordinator is absent, and oversee Culinary/Resident Assistants in food preparation tasks. Report unsafe conditions, complete work orders, and respond to alarms or emergency situations. Uphold confidentiality and participate in staff meetings and safety committees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in culinary or hospitality services
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and assist in supervisory tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary Arts degree preferred
