Job Summary
Create and deliver fresh, nutritious meals that impact students' wellbeing, lead and motivate the catering team, and take full ownership of the operation to ensure smooth service. Manage stock, ordering, and budgets effectively while championing compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. This role involves Monday to Friday shifts from 9:00am to 3:00pm, 30 hours per week during term time only, with an annual salary of £19,620. Candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS check including the Children's Barred List and two suitable references.
Required Qualifications
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including Children's Barred List
- Two suitable references
- Proven experience in a Chef Manager type role
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and compliance standards
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage, budgets, stock and catering performance
