Job Summary
Prepare meals appealingly and at the correct temperature per the menu and schedule, while accommodating special limited diets per policy. Identify menu errors, make corrections, and report changes to the Director of Culinary. Store, date, and rotate food according to food handling guidelines, and follow the kitchen cleaning schedule. Maintain a safe, clean environment and interact with residents courteously and empathetically. Carry knowledge of the community paging system and perform other duties as assigned. Ensure proper hygiene, maintain professional dress, and submit to drug screening and background checks. Possess a CPR/First Aid certificate, attend required workshops, and demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

- Must maintain proper hygiene
- Must be professional in dress and presentation
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in standard English
- Must be a mature individual
- Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Must be detail and team work oriented
- Must possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
- Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift
- Must be able to carry and possess a working knowledge of community paging system
