Job Summary
Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets while adhering to federal, state, and local sanitary regulations. Review menus prior to preparation and serve food that is palatable and appetizing in appearance. Ensure all residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect, protecting their rights by knocking before entering rooms and maintaining a professional image that fosters teamwork. Collaborate with the Dietary Services Director to provide quality food service and share information useful to achieving desired results.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' dietary experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course
