Job Summary
Cook in Long Term Care facilities (PT shifts, varied). Responsibilities include preparing and serving food to patients/residents, staff, and visitors per menu and dietary requirements; adhering to HACCP guidelines; maintaining sanitation, labeling, and storage of food and equipment; operating kitchen equipment; communicating effectively with internal customers; and following standardized recipes. Requires ability to work on feet, read and follow directions, perform basic math, and thrive in a dynamic culinary environment. On-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location; driver’s license may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame
- Depending upon location, BLS may be required
- Valid Driver's License may be required
