Job Summary
Prepare food in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, therapeutic diets, and authorized substitutions while adhering to sanitary regulations and federal, state, and local standards. Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing, ensuring all residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Collaborate with co-workers to maintain a positive professional image and support the Dietary Services Director in providing quality food service. Requires 1-2 years of dietary experience, preferably in acute or long-term care, plus a Food Safety/Sanitation course.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' dietary experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course
