Job Summary
Cook to assist Culinary Manager in coordinating kitchen activities; oversees kitchen operations in the Culinary Manager's absence; prepares and cooks a wide variety of hot and cold meals; accommodates special dietary requirements; helps plan for special events; ensures safety and hygiene procedures are understood by kitchen and dining staff; assists in training and familiarizing wait staff with menu items and ingredients; maintains clean and safe equipment and facilities; ensures customer satisfaction and supports the restaurant team in daily shift duties.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of culinary experience.
- Ability to work with numbers and use good judgment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read and speak with clarity.
- Physical ability to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
