Job Summary
Cook/Chef role at Sunflower Beach’s Turtle’s Poolside Grill in Port Aransas, TX. Lead kitchen operations, prepare and execute menu items with consistency, manage daily setup and service, ensure food is delivered to established standards, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and support high-volume periods. Focus on delivering high-quality food, maintaining brand standards in presentation, taste, and portioning, and upholding food safety and sanitation requirements. Collaborate with resort management and staff to support a positive guest experience, control inventory and waste, and contribute to profitability while maintaining quality. Weekend and holiday availability required; Texas Food Handler Certificate preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or chef experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Texas Food Handler Certificate
