Job Summary
The Cook prepares and serves quality meals for patients in a post-acute care facility following Life Care standards and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include preparing meals appropriate for ordered diets, using production tools and recipes, ensuring timely service, maintaining food safety and sanitation, providing excellent patient service, and collaborating on an interdisciplinary team. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and ~1 year of experience in large-quantity food preparation; must read, write, and understand English and adhere to company policies and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in food preparation preferred
- Experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities
