Job Summary
Prepare and serve appetizing meals appropriate for each patient's ordered diet, ensuring food and supplies are readily available. Serve snacks and meals in a timely manner while utilizing production tools and recipes provided. Maintain patient safety and sanitation standards, assist in patient evacuation, and communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate dependable attendance and follow all Life Care policies, including harassment and compliance procedures. Perform proficiently in competency areas such as patient rights and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in food preparation preferred
- Experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities
