Job Summary
Prepare food consistent with recipe cards and manage daily menu execution under the Executive Chef's direction. Start food items prepared ahead of time while ensuring accurate portioning and avoiding over-preparation. Return unused items to designated storage areas and operate cooking equipment while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Work on your feet for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year's experience as a prep line/cook
- Capable of thinking on their feet
- Able to keep up in high-pressure situations
- Must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to carry/lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to bend/twist
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to work on slippery floors
