Job Summary
Prepare and serve food in accordance with daily menus and recipe standards while ensuring all food safety standards are followed. Coordinate with team members to complete prep work on time and maintain a clean, organized working environment. Keep kitchen areas stocked and perform additional duties as assigned. This role requires one year of line cook experience, willingness to learn USDA National School Lunch Program compliance, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time position with paid time off, holiday pay, and medical benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of line cook or culinary experience
- Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy
- Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs
