Job Summary
Cook in a school setting responsible for preparing and serving food according to daily menu and recipe standards; ensure food safety at all times; coordinate with team to have food ready for service; maintain a clean, organized work area; assist with additional duties as needed; opportunities to learn culinary skills and advance; requires 1 year of line cook or culinary experience, willingness to learn NSLP compliance, and ability to work in a school environment; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs; strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.
