Job Summary
Prepare and serve food for the Food Service department in accordance with manual guidelines, including grilling, frying, slicing meats and cheeses, and ensuring proper rotation, dating, packaging, and adherence to local weights and measures regulations. Deliver courteous, customer-first service to create a positive, friendly, and efficient store environment; assist in stocking and ordering as needed; maintain a clean, organized workstation; cross-train in multiple areas to support daily operations and food safety programs. This part-time role at Food City in Piney Flats, TN focuses on consistent quality food preparation, teamwork, and compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Food Service experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- perform routine and repetitive tasks
- ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
