Job Summary
Cook position at Food City in Harriman, TN. Responsibilities include preparing all food for the Food Service department per guidelines, producing quality food to meet customer and company expectations, handling grill orders and fryer usage, slicing meats and cheeses, rotation of products in coolers/freezers, maintaining correct product dating, assisting with stock and ordering supplies, ensuring proper packaging for self-service products, and cross-training across multiple areas. Requires 18+ and emphasizes customer service, food safety, teamwork, and flexible scheduling. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food Service experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
