Job Summary
Cook position at Food City focusing on preparing all food for the Food Service department per manual guidelines, producing quality food, and supporting a positive customer-first environment. Responsibilities include grilling and fryer work, slicing meats and cheeses, proper product rotation and dating, packing, stocking, following the Food Safety program, maintaining a clean workstation, assisting with ordering, and cross-training across multiple areas. Must be 18+, with on-site availability and strong teamwork to provide friendly, efficient customer service and a safe, compliant operation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food Service experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
