Job Summary
Cook IV position at Marriott International in Aspen, CO. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing; wash and peel fruits/vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; cook according to recipes and quality/presentation standards; prepare cold foods; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test for doneness and monitor food quality; set up and break down the workstation; serve food in proper portions and ensure proper temperatures. Follow safety policies, report maintenance or safety issues, maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and develop positive working relationships with teammates. Requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and completing safety trainings. Education preferred is high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year related experience; no supervisory experience required.
