Job Summary
Prepare all food required by the menu using recipes and production documents, ensuring portion sizes align with food service guidelines. Operate steamers, ovens, grills, and broilers safely while testing food with thermometers and tasting to adjust cooking processes. Adhere to HACCP and infection control standards, maintaining departmental policies and attending in-service training with 100% attendance. Assist in cleaning storage areas, rotating stock, and monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Report equipment malfunctions to the Food Production Manager and perform other assigned functions to meet departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
- Quantity cooking experience
- Must pass math skills test
- Speaks, reads, and writes English
- High School graduation or equivalent
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- 100% attendance at in-service training

- Knowledge of a second language
