Job Summary
Cook III at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, FL is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality food for members and guests, supporting daily kitchen operations, and maintaining sanitation and organization. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking menu items per club recipes, assisting with banquet and a la carte production, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, assisting with prep work (chopping, portioning, marinating), maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas, supporting senior culinary staff during high-volume service, assisting with deliveries, and communicating effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams while following safety and club policies.
Required Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Experience in a private club, restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
