Job Summary
Prepare and serve all meals, including salads and desserts, for therapeutic diets according to planned menus. Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders while serving meals using proper portions and special diet items. Prepare food for special occasions or special resident needs as necessary. Maintain equipment and food storage areas in sanitary and orderly condition. Work weekends only with a high school diploma, three years of high volume food preparation experience, and food safety certification. Long-term care food service experience is preferred.

- Certification in food safety required
