Job Summary
Cook III in a school district kitchen; assists Head Cook in preparing nutritious meals for students and staff, maintains a clean kitchen, adheres to safety and sanitation regulations, and may substitute for Cook II or Head Cook when absent. Responsibilities include menu item preparation, serving meals, cleaning and storing equipment, operating kitchen equipment, adhering to safety/sanitation rules, and participating in training to maintain certifications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a food services position strongly preferred
- Certificates as determined by the District; ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and Oregon Food Handler card prior to work; Bloodborne pathogen training and blood spill training to be provided at start of each school year
