Job Summary
Cook II at Davidson College Dining, 15-20 hours per week, prepares hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events. Responsibilities include portioning, maintaining correct temperatures, presenting food attractively, safe food handling, and sanitation. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment, reports maintenance or safety issues, attends in-service and safety meetings, and collaborates with coworkers and management to ensure quality service. Night and weekend work required; role may involve working across campus dining locations. Preferred qualifications include vocational culinary training and certifications (food handler, Allertrain Lite).
Required Qualifications
