Job Summary
This Cook II role supports catering operations for the District Conference Center and daily service in the Caf� and Food Truck. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking to order, following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, tasting and ensuring food quality, managing inventories for catering functions and the cafe, training staff and students in proper kitchen conduct and food handling, enforcing HACCP and sanitation standards, mentoring students and staff, and supervising food-truck operations with a focus on customer service and efficiency. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (with 2 years of culinary education), experience with budgeting and procurement, familiarity with Microsoft platforms, accounting software, POS systems, ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain), and willingness to work extended hours including evenings and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft platform, accounting software, and POS systems
- Experience with budgets procurement
- 2 years of cooking and/or kitchen management, food truck experience preferred
- Completed 2 years of Culinary Education
- Servsafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain
