Job Summary

Conduct daily cooking operations while maintaining safety critical checklists, cooling charts, and FIFO standards. Act as quality assurance inspector ensuring food quality, compliance with health department regulations, and proper labeling and rotation. Prepare designated menu units with strict portion control and present visually appealing dishes via Plate Perfect. Manage inventory levels, minimize waste through small batch cooking, and answer guest questions regarding park layout and menu availability. Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean environment while adhering to ServSafe Manager Certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Previous Cook experience
  • Able to successfully complete ServSafe Manager Certification within 30 days of start date
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to tolerate a fast-paced environment
  • Must have professional appearance with good personal hygiene
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined
  • Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information
  • Must be willing to constantly improve
  • Must be able to tolerate detergents and chemicals such as, but not limited to, dish liquids, bleach, Tide, degreaser, oven cleaner and other chemicals necessary to clean/sanitize equipment and environment
  • Must take Start Fresh training
  • Must comply with all Health Department, ServSafe, and Company regulations pertaining to safe food handling practices
  • Able to safely operate equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines
  • Able to safely navigate work environment
  • Able to make decisions by analyzing information allowing on-the-spot correction of guests concerns

  • Able to receive, process and retain information to follow work instructions
