Job Summary
Cook II position preparing and cooking items according to company standards for recipes and procedures, including seasoning, finish and garnishment of all food items. Performs basic cooking operations (deep fat frying, broiling, steaming, sautéing, basic oven work) and plates food for service and large functions. Work at assigned kitchen station with responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of the area; assist other kitchen personnel; properly use and store food items; complete prep for next shift; transport food to workstations; maintain coolers and dry storage; provide guidance to peer group employees to oversee task completion; maintain regular attendance; follow the Purpose and Value Model.
