Job Summary
Prepares and presents a wide variety of global, ethnic, and California cuisine dishes for residential clients under the Executive Chef's direction. Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications while restocking items and maintaining station cleanliness. Cleans and organizes kitchen areas, walk-in coolers, and storage zones, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Models appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, families, and staff, encouraging positive behaviors and promoting social interaction. Adheres to professional ethics, HIPAA policies, and CBH compliance standards, reporting resident abuse, neglect, or safety hazards immediately. Attends assigned trainings, supervisions, and weekly meetings to stay current on federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Exhibit excellent customer service.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Team oriented with an ability to collaborate with all kitchen and management staff.
- Demonstrate a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- ServSafe Certified.
- Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good standing.
- Have a valid driver's license in good standing and auto insurance.
- Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed.
- Flexibility and adaptability in schedule are essential.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred candidates should have sound understanding of mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and milieu therapy.
