Job Summary
Cook I is responsible for assisting with food preparation and maintaining quality, appearance, and safety in the kitchen. On-site role with a varying schedule including days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Requires basic cooking techniques, following standardized recipes, basic knife skills, and ability to maintain a clean, sanitary work area in accordance with health standards; previous culinary experience and a Food Handler certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Food Handler certification or equivalent
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- Able to stand for long periods
- Medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
