Job Summary
Entry-level Cook I role focusing on food preparation in casino outlets. Responsibilities include maintaining high food quality, keeping the back-of-house area clean, performing basic prep tasks (e.g., chopping vegetables, storing food correctly), reading and following prep lists, ensuring kitchen equipment is clean, communicating respectfully with coworkers, adhering to attendance and company policies, and participating in required trainings. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule; duties may evolve as needed. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Some previous experience in a kitchen environment
- Professional appearance
- Must be a Team Player
- Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required
