Job Summary
Cook I - Cantonese cuisine working on multiple hot and cold stations, following established recipes set by the Executive Chef, with emphasis on high-quality food preparation, safety and sanitation, teamwork, and maintaining daily briefings and training opportunities. Responsibilities include adhering to policies and standards, assisting with prep and presentation, communicating issues to superiors, supporting departmental performance, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ability to read and interpret documents, respond to inquiries, and work in a dynamic hospitality environment; preferred background includes culinary education, sanitation knowledge, knife skills, and at least 3 years cooking experience. Minimum age 18 with potential licensing through the Massachusetts Gaming Commission; ServSafe or equivalent certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Massachusetts Gaming Commission license required
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Culinary arts or related field education or experience preferred
- Sanitation and culinary knowledge, knife skills and safe food handling practices preferred
- ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience preferred
- Conversational English required
