Job Summary
Prepare special meals or substitute items; regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; thaw frozen items in the refrigerator; ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnishing; maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity; inform Chef and F&B staff of specials and out-of-stock items; cook according to recipes and quality standards. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and motivating staff; follow safety and security policies; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; anticipate guest service needs and communicate clearly; build positive relationships and support team goals; comply with quality expectations, safety, and procedure checklists. Stand or walk for extended periods, lift/move objects up to 25 pounds. Preferred: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
