Job Summary
Cook I will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. Responsibilities include following recipes and menus, interacting with customers, government personnel, subcontractors, and GCE management, and meeting job eligibility and background-screening requirements. The role may involve travel to different locations, indoor work, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with varied schedules including early mornings, mid-mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Must possess knowledge of basic operation of a kitchen
- Understand oral and/or written instructions
- Ability to read and quantify recipes, and menus
- Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, subcontractor, and GCE management, and team members
- Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
