Cook I

Prepare special meals or substitute items and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation checklists. Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures while pulling items from freezer storage to thaw. Monitor food quality and quantity, ensure proper portion and garnish, and maintain food logs. Inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials and notify Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees; report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions. Follow all safety policies, complete required training, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
