Job Summary
Prepare special meals or substitute items and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation checklists. Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull items from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator. Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish while maintaining food logs and monitoring prepared food quality. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; serve as a role model. Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform staff of menu specials or out-of-stock items. Follow all company and safety policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
