Job Summary
Prepares and cooks a variety of food for residents, families and visitors; oversees the work of other food service staff involved in the cooking process; adheres to menus, recipes, and dietitian guidelines; ensures proper sanitation, safety, and cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; assists with menu changes and training of dining staff; maintains HIPAA compliance and a respectful, dignified atmosphere for residents and families; active participation in trainings and attendance requirements; supports teamwork and effective communication with residents, families, and management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
