Job Summary
Prepare and handle meals under the direction of the Chef, in accordance with the daily production schedule, to the satisfaction of the supervisor & residents. Responsibilities include estimating quantities of food, ordering and rotating inventory, meeting meal schedules, portioning according to diet orders and residents’ preferences, storing and labeling items, and maintaining sanitation per County, State & Federal regulations. Must have 2 years’ experience in quantity cooking in an institutional kitchen with mechanical food service equipment.
