Job Summary
Cook meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff under the guidance of the chef/production manager; follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items; maintain a clean and organized work area and follow cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures; adhere to health and safety policies; assist team members and management to operate the department efficiently; full-time position with rotating day/evening/night shifts at Kindred Hospital Chicago North Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
