Cook / Grind Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Second-shift Cook/Grind Production Lead responsible for the daily operation of the department, including assigning and reviewing work, resolving issues with shipments, and complying with departmental procedures. Leads/supervises 16-25 employees; assigns tasks, verifies completion, rotates assignments, enforces safety and work rules, and reports incidents as directed. Maintains or coordinates maintenance on departmental equipment (scales, forklift batteries, spotters, forklifts, hand trucks). Processes shipments per procedure, validates truck drivers, directs trailer activity, verifies bills of lading, cross-checks lot numbers, and approves direct reports. Inspects cooler/freezer conditions, inventory levels, and packaging materials. Performs date entry duties for goods receipts, inventory movements, and costs. Upholds safety procedures and policies. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and Certified Forklift Operator. 0-1 years experience preferred. On-site in Oakland, IA.
