Job Summary
PRN Cook to prepare, cook, and present meals in a skilled nursing facility; coordinate food production to meet scheduled meal service times; ensure menu items, portion sizes, and plate presentations meet facility standards; adhere to special diet orders and follow standard recipes; operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations; clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in dining services (preferably in hospital or skilled nursing facility)
- Culinary school training is preferred but not required
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
