Job Summary
Prepare food for patients as prescribed by attending physicians and for staff members for lunch and dinner daily according to menus, tally sheets, and prep sheets. Cook foods following specified recipes, procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet expectations for palatability, seasoning, and textures across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Perform necessary cleaning to keep the department clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary. Requires six months of institutional food preparation experience and the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations involving fractions.
