Job Summary
Prepare and cook food items to Holiday Inn brand high quality standards across restaurant, room service, banquet events and other outlets; perform daily line checks, audits of consistency and quality, and follow procedures to maximize quality; maintain presentation through use records and photographs; follow procurement guidelines to control food costs while supporting revenue goals; ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and collaborating with kitchen staff; uphold food safety standards, keep a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to standard operating procedures; requires strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, and 2+ years of cook experience; high school diploma or GED and college/culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Required Qualifications

- College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience
- Detail oriented; ability to communicate well with all levels; problem-solve with team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; extended hours; standing/walking
