Job Summary
Cook; prepares and serves food for patients, employees, and special events, ensuring proper temperatures and attractive presentation; maintains a clean and safe work environment. Must have six months of quantity food preparation experience and a Food Handlers Certificate (if required locally). Knowledge of therapeutic diet preparation is a plus. Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, time-management, prioritization, analytical thinking, and detail-oriented skills to meet tight timeframes in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Six months’ experience in quantity food preparation.
- Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with therapeutic diet preparation (preferred)
