Job Summary
Prepare and serve quality meals for senior living residents, families, and guests while ensuring special dietary needs are met and texture-modified foods are prepared as directed. Manage full-line menu items and special diets through accurate record keeping, receiving, inventory rotation, and regulatory compliance with HACCP, labeling, and storage protocols. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to maintain proper temperature logs and adhere to all food safety and risk management requirements. Maintain current ServSafe certification or obtain it within the role. Full-time position with hourly salary of $20.00–$24.00; part-time shifts available every other weekend. Requires one year of food preparation experience, high school diploma, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- You should be familiar with sanitation regulations
- Maintains a current ServSafe certification or able to obtain ServSafe certification
- One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and special diets
- High school diploma or GED accepted
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- The associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell
- Part-Time shifts available every other weekend
