Job Summary
Prepare menu items from scratch using recipes and incorporate new ideas into the menu based on staff suggestions. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area while preparing dishes for residents. Work full-time hours at Oaknoll's East Campus on Scott Boulevard, with some holidays and weekends required. This role supports the CREATE culture of caring, respect, enthusiasm, awareness, teamwork, and encouragement within our not-for-profit community.
Required Qualifications
- can prepare menu items from recipes
- takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen area
- has at least one year experience as a line cook or a degree in culinary arts
- has basic cooking knowledge and knife skills
- has a great attitude and customer service skills
- Some holidays and weekends will be required
