Job Summary
Execute menus and recipes with consistent portioning and plating, manage station efficiency through prep and ticket flow, and maintain food safety via labeling, temperature checks, and sanitation. Own pantry inventory by receiving, rotating stock, tracking par levels, and minimizing waste while supporting catering and community events. Work in a commercial kitchen environment with variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand frequently. Requires one year of professional cooking experience and a valid food handler card.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year professional cooking experience (hospitality, senior living, healthcare, or similar)
- Required food handler card per state/local law (or ability to obtain by the mandated date)
- Calm under pressure, organized, and guest-focused; strong communication and teamwork
