Job Summary
Cook responsible for properly preparing all food items in accordance with planned menus and recipes, overseeing the Dining Services Department under direction from the Director of Dining Services; ensure food is served at correct temperatures, maintain plate presentation and cleanliness, coordinate menu changes with the Director of Dining Services, manage food storage and inventory, and supervise servers and dishwashers as needed while promoting a positive team environment and complying with governmental and dietary regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Age over 18 years
- Background clearance as required by government regulations
- Current Food handlers permit
- Minimum of two years’ experience cooking
- Negative TB test results
- Excellent communication skills in English
