Job Summary
Prepares and serves food for patients, employees and special events using proper food handling and safety techniques, ensuring foods are served at the proper temperature and presented attractively per established standards. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Minimum qualifications include six months’ experience in quantity food preparation and a Food Handlers Certificate; experience with therapeutic diet preparation is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, time management, prioritization, analytical thinking, and detail-oriented skills are required to meet strict time frames in a collaborative hospital setting.
